PANIK-3.png

Panic comes from Pan - the wild god of nature, fear and ecstatic revelation echoing Jodoworsky’s concept of psychomagic which is a kind of artistic shock therapy where creativity becomes a form of healing. Since I was a child I found the word panic be a powerful word with layers and layers of meaning. Panic is to draw attention, to shake, wake the sleeping mind, change the direction, focus, to balance the order by bringing in some healthy chaos. Greeks might agree on the importance of the word too as in Greek pan (πᾶν / παν-) is a prefix meaning ‘all’ or ‘everything’. The project aims to be integrative and wanders the threshold where dreams, archetypes and consciousness touch psychology and step past the ordinary into the mythic.

Where modern science meets ancient magic

My approach lives at the intersection of evidence-based psychology and the more mysterious realms of spirit exploring what lies just beyond what (mainstream) science can explain. Topics like dreams, death, imagination, rituals, hypnosis, non-ordinary states of consciousness and the meaning of consciousness itself are central here.

We are often our own best healers especially when supported by community, shared stories, rituals and intentional mental health practices so this space is for those who have felt unseen by conventional mental health systems and are still searching for meaning, connection and tools for resilience.

A bit about me...

I come from the worlds of filmmaking, dance and design - all mediums of transformation that taught me how stories, bodies and symbols shape our inner lives which add important embodied element to a lot of my research. My path eventually led me studying ancient wisdom traditions and the field of psychology and hypnotherapy where I now bridge creativity and depth work to support mental health and meaningful change. My approach is non-dualistic and preventative rather than symptom focused.

Each month, I share writings, practices, rituals and reflections that live in the space between psychology, myth and ancient wisdom. To book a session please send an email to community@panicpanacea.com
